Meet Our Team

Hello, from our Waterside Family!

Barbara King, Massage Therapist

Barbara’s massage talents are intuitive, experienced, and filled with so much care. She moved to Steamboat June 2017 to be closer to her daughter and has developed a very devoted following. Massage therapy is her calling- she loves taking care of people and massage therapy was the perfect way to do it. Specializing in Hot Stone Massage and Ashiatsu Barefoot Therapies, her abilities are ever-evolving. When not taking care of others, she enjoys teaching yoga at the church, eating organic meals, and being with friends/family.

Amber Perry, Esthetician + Makeup Artist

With an eye for detail, as an esthetician and in life… Amber has an amazing talent for making things (and people) look beautiful again! Her favorite hobbies, outside the spa, include refinishing unique pieces of furniture, creating a beautiful distressed and shabby-chic style. She also loves snowboarding, surfing and time with her family, dogs, and three pet ducks!

Corinne Cole, Hair Stylist

Specializing in curly hair styles, Corinne is a Deva-Curl certified hair dresser. This means that she will actually cut your curly hair to enhance it’s natural curl, thus making the hair look and feel more manageable. She specialized in beautiful bridal and special event hair stylings and is a master colorist.  Fun fact about Corinne… she also loves tiny garden gnomes!

Kori Shafer, Manicurist

Kori has been a certified manicurist since 2002 and is a local in Routt County.  She is very excited to provide exceptional manicuring service at Waterside Day Spa.  Kori is also available for out-call nail care services in your home, condo, hotel room, or wherever you choose. Kind and entertaining, Kori loves what she does and it shows!

Tracey Lucas, Hair Stylist

Tracey loves her children, her dog Monty, exercise classes and traveling the world. A little bit of a foodie, Tracey enjoys a great glass of wine paired with delicious cuisines. Tracey has been a part of the Waterside team since it first opened and before that owned her own hair salon in Steamboat. With her experience and talents, along with her quirky and simply delightful sense of humor, her clients are always in for a good time!

Heather Bolles, Manicurist

Heather’s floral and pink beach cruiser is a staple in front of the spa and around town, especially in the snow-free months. Her love of laughter and fun, is enough to make any one giggle. Heather is an avid paddle boarder, spending nearly every weekend in the summer at the lake or on the river! Heather is also an artist… she creates hand-made feather earrings and woven jewelry, and cozy knitted hats, found in the Waterside Boutique. Ask her about the chrome nail polishes that she’s mastered!

Tania Demerdjian, Esthetician

Tania is simply a skin care enthusiast… very well educated on the science of the skin care, how and why each product works, and what to combine in order to achieve your desired results. It’s amazing how much she understands the molecular composition of the skin and every single product used in a service.  She also enjoys performing in the annual Steamboat Cabaret and other stage productions here in town!

Holly Dickhausen, Massage Therapist

A traveler and an avid hiker, Holly enjoys getting out in the wilderness with her family. She’s been doing massages at Waterside since 2011

Kristin Cronin, Esthetician

Kristin is a comedian, animal lover, esthetician and so much more.  A jack of many traits, you may recognize her as a radio personality or from the improv comedy nights at the Chief Theater. We always look forward to hearing about Kristin’s latest shelter dog rescues and her random fun facts about life. Also, a very talented and experienced esthetician, Kristin has a very simply approach to skin care that makes facials very enjoyable for anyone!

Victoria Cutter, Spa Coordinator

A traveler, filled with a wonderful need to explore, Victoria recently moved to Steamboat Springs, after falling in love with the magic of the Yampa Valley.  When Victoria is not at the spa, she is often road tripping to explore and discover other great sites nearby.

Lexi Budler, Owner, Waterside Day Spa

With a love for the spa industry that developed as a child, Lexi has always been a devout reader of beauty books, trends in the industry, and interested in creating spa services. It’s not often that one is able to find their calling so young and spend a lifetime developing their passion. Lexi has been in the spa industry since 2007 as receptionist, massage therapist and spa manager in various spa + salon settings.  Now, it’s with mountains of gratitude that she is able to share this wellness movement with an entire community. She looks forward to watching her young daughter, Cassidy, find her dreams in life and see how they evolve to become passions!

Cassidy, Spa Fairy

Cassidy was born in February of 2017, shortly after her mama, Lexi, purchased Waterside from the previous owner in December 2016. Cassidy “helped” with completing a round of much needed updates. Napping in the salt suite and playing in the water at the pedicure stations are Cassidy’s favorite part of the spa. She is occasionally seen outside, picking flowers, bird-watching or playing with someone’s dog.
